A Proudly Australian Owned and Operated Marine Dredging Company
TAMS marine dredging capabilities were established in 2010 when WA Dredging was incorporated into the TAMS Group, with the aim of providing a specialised dredging capability to service local ports and waterways, reinstating and maintaining their navigable depth. Projects involving capital, maintenance and environmental dredging along with beach nourishment and rock transport/placement are all suitable for our dredging fleet.
We operate two highly technical backhoe dredges ‘Total Support’ and ‘FT3’, both of which are ideal for marine excavation, dredging and construction works including armour placement, shore crossings, rock breaking etc.
Dredge spoils, rock dump materials and the like can be transported in our Split Hopper Barge ‘North’ while our seabed plough can be towed behind support vessels to remove high points and level the seabed.

To manage our marine dredging works, the dredging fleet is fitted with PDS software from Teledyne-Reson which provides real time monitoring and visualization of the dredging operations. Bathymetric surveys can be performed from the support vessel, fitted with our R2Sonic 2020 Multibeam.
As part of the TAMS Group, we offer clients direct access to a wide range of associated marine equipment and services, so that when you’re planning a dredging project with us we can also provide diving support, workboats and the support vessels you need, and even temporary moorings and synthetic fibre ropes if required for your job.
For TAMS, and our clients, the safety of life at sea is always paramount and we operate an integrated management system in line with ISO standards to ensure we deliver the highest levels of surveillance / awareness / observation and safety.
TAMS is a uniquely prepared company, and we can deliver the highest level of marine dredging and associated services, anywhere around Australia.
