This project consisted of the design and construction of a Heavy Lift Wharf at BAE’s Henderson Facility. It included the installation of four Dolphin’s, 16 Wharf Piles, 1.2m thick concrete deck, fenders and mooring equipment.
TAMS supplied all the required floating plant and vessels to complete the works. TAMS in-house engineering team designed all required temporary works necessary to complete the driving of piles and construction of the concrete wharf deck. TAMS also provided the innovative solution of a “modular floating dock” system. The floating dock allows access to the work front over water across the full tide range.
